Our Story

Martello Cigar Co.

Handmade in Miami, USA

Martello Cigar Co. began as a search for a new creative language. After years spent in kitchens, learning how flavor is built, restrained, and remembered, cigars became the next honest expression of that same work. Not as a departure, but as a continuation—a way to create something sensory, personal, and deliberate while respecting the historical, cultural, and spiritual significance that cigars traditions embody.

A cigar, at its best, gives a person back to themselves. It asks for patience. It creates room for conversation, memory, and stillness. Martello Cigar Co. was built around that belief: that a cigar should not simply be consumed, but experienced—shaped by the tobacco, the people who cared for it, and the intention behind every decision.

The Factory

El Titan de Bronze

In the heart of Little Havana stands El Titan de Bronze, one of the last sanctuaries of true handmade cigar craftsmanship in the United States. It's here, behind the glass on Calle Ocho, that Martello Cigar Co. found not just a home for its cigars—but a partnership rooted in trust, tradition, and shared passion.

Art In Motion

The factory is small, but the staff is overtly skilled. Everyone has a job, and they do it with haste and precision—skilled hands working in unison, a low hum of conversation, and tobacco being sorted.

"Skilled hands working in unison, a low hum of conversation, and the tobacco being sorted."

"It represents more than production—it's a reflection of shared values, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of perfection that defines both of our names."

— Michael Martello Jr.
